Does ANYONE swing dance out there for FUN?

THere’s a couple of places nearby that hold swing dances I believe every month.
Do you think one could learn a few steps and look alright [w/out lookin like lucille ball] w/only a few lessons?
Or is it kinda difficult to learn?
I think it’s so cool and would like to try it.
and also is it easy to have a swing dance partner, lol–my husband flatout refuses to try it w/me.
but it won’t stop me from having fun on the dance floor.

    In most such situations there’s a great number of people with only a few lessons’ background (many of them women whose husbands refuse to dance) having a blast. Go right ahead. If you run into a more experienced dancer, he can make you look very good despite your inexperience, and even if you don’t look like Ginger Rogers, you’ll still have tons of fun.
